In anticipation of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World implemented an over-night price hike on June 18 to their annual passes that has many pass-holders rethinking whether or not to renew. The new and old pricing appears below.

There is much debate in forums and Facebook groups that focus on Disney about whether this is just a means of increasing revenue for the company, or if this is an effort to use pricing to curb over-crowding in parks that haven’t seen an increase in capacity in decades.
