Dining Plan Rules
- The only requirement is staying in a Disney Resort that is on Disney property.
- Must be purchased for the duration of your stay.
- Must be purchased for everyone in your party who is 3 years of age or older. Children under 3 may eat off of an adult’s plate or you can pay out-of-pocket for their meals. Children ages 10 and up will be charged the adult price.
- You may convert 1 Quick Service credit to 3 snack credits at most Quick-Service locations (excluding carts and kiosks), but only if all 3 snacks qualify for the dining plan and all 3 are purchased at once.
- Trading Snack credits for meal credits is still not permitted.
- Meal credits expire on midnight of the day you check-out of your resort.
- Gratuity is NOT included on the Dining Plans. For parties of 6 or more, 18% gratuity is automatically added.
- If you’re dining with another party that’s also using a MagicBand or card to redeem meals, please notify the server which meals should be redeemed on each valid Disney Resort ID.
- You can redeem your meals and snacks in any order during your stay, until your credits are gone. All unused credits as well as the ability to use your refillable mug expire at midnight on your package reservation checkout date.
The Disney Dining Plan
For each night of your vacation at a Disney Resort, each person in your party ages 3 and up receives:
- 1 Quick Service Meal
- Breakfast, lunch or dinner includes 1 entree and 1 single-serving non-alcoholic beverage (or 1 single-serving alcoholic beverage for those over the age of 21).
- 1 Table Service Meal
- Breakfast includes 1 entree and 1 single-serving non-alcoholic beverage (or 1 single-serving alcoholic beverage for those over the age of 21) OR 1 Full Buffet** or Family-Style Meal.
- Lunch and dinner include 1 entree, 1 dessert*, and 1 single-serving non-alcoholic beverage (or 1 single-serving alcoholic beverage for those over the age of 21) OR 1 Full Buffet** or Family-Style Meal.
- 2 Snacks
- 1 Resort-refillable mug (good for the duration of your stay)
*Ask your server about potential substitutions, but substitutions are not guaranteed.

Snacks
- Available throughout the resorts and parks and are marked with the DDP logo.
At Quick-Service restaurants, most Outdoor Carts and select merchandise locations, snacks may include a single serving of items such as:
- Frozen ice cream novelty, popsicle or fruit bar
- Popcorn scoop
- 12 oz. coffee, hot chocolate or hot tea
- Prepackaged milk or juice
- Piece of whole fruit
- Bag of snacks
- 20 oz. bottle of Coca-Cola®, Sprite® or Dasani® water
- 20 oz. fountain soft drink
Beverages
Guests under 21 years of age can choose one nonalcoholic beverage (including specialty beverages where offered). Guests 21 and older can choose either one nonalcoholic beverage (including specialty beverages where offered) or one single-serving mixed cocktail, beer or wine (where offered) within their meal entitlement. A single-serving nonalcoholic beverage includes items such as:
- Artisanal Milkshakes
- Fresh Smoothies
- Premium Hot Chocolate
- Soda, Coffee or Tea
A single-serving alcoholic beverage includes items such as:
- Beer or Cider
- Wine or Sangria
- Mixed Drinks and Specialty Cocktails
Most beer, wine and mixed drink beverages included, some exceptions apply. Guests 21 and older must present valid ID to be served alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages may only be redeemed with a Quick-Service or Table-Service meal entitlement.
Other Magical Dining Experiences to Redeem Table-Service Meals
Character Dining
- Don’t forget to bring your camera! Character dining requires 1 Table-Service credit per guest, with the exception of Cinderella’s Royal Table, which requires 2 Table-Service credits per guest.
- Merchandise or photo imaging products that may be offered for sale at Character Dining Experiences are not included. Gratuities are not included unless otherwise noted.
Signature Dining Restaurants
- Each meal from a Signature Dining restaurant requires 2 Table-Service credits per guest.
- The dress code for Signature Dining restaurants is Resort casual. Not permitted in dining room: tank tops, swimsuits or swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cutoffs, torn clothing of any kind or T-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics.
Dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant
2 Table-Service credits will be redeemed per person for dinner. Breakfast and lunch are Quick-Service dining.
Dinner Shows
Enjoy family-style dining with live entertainment at a themed dinner show.
The Disney Dining Plan can be used for Category 2 or Category 3 seating at all Dinner Shows (subject to availability) and Category 1 seating at the 8:30 PM Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue (subject to availability). Please pick up your Dinner Show ticket at the Concierge Desk in your Disney Resort hotel prior to arriving at the show. All Dinner Shows require advance reservations.
2 meals for each Dinner Show meal ordered will be redeemed from each Guest’s meal plan balance.
Private In-Room Dining
Indulge in the comfort and convenience of dining in your room at select Disney Resort hotels.
Each Private In-Room Dining meal includes:
- 1 Entrée
- 1 Dessert (lunch and dinner)
- 1 Nonalcoholic Beverage (or Alcoholic Beverage, for Guests 21 and older)
- 2 meal credits for each Private In-Room Dining meal ordered will be used per guest. Gratuities are included.
Please note: Dining Plans are not accepted for Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Private Dining.
Pizza Delivery
Each Pizza Delivery meal includes:
- 1 Pizza Entrée Item
- 2 Single-serving Nonalcoholic Beverages (or Alcoholic Beverages, for Guests 21 and older)
- 2 Desserts
- 2 adult meal credits will be used for each Pizza Delivery meal. Gratuities are included.
What’s Not Included
- Items that are more than a single serving
- Items that are served in a souvenir container
- Items sold from rental counters
- Items considered to be merchandise
- Special dining events offered at certain Table-Service locations
Gratuities
Gratuities are not included except at Dinner Shows, Private In-Room Dining and Cinderella’s Royal Table.
An additional form of payment is needed if you add gratuity and have not provided a credit card at check-in to charge incidentals and other expenses to your room.
An 18% gratuity will automatically be added to your bill for parties of 6 or more.
An automatic gratuity charge may also be added to your bill for certain items you order that are not included in the Disney Dining Plan.
Additional Charges
Prix fixe menus and certain select menu items require payment of an additional amount in addition to redeeming the number of required Table-Service credits.
For special dietary requests, Guests should note them at the time of booking their dining reservations. Guests may also speak with a chef or manager upon arrival at the dining location.
