Ever since Disney rolled it out, the new FastPass+ has some people scratching their heads and wondering how the heck it works. Here’s the deal…
For those staying on Disney property, you are allowed to choose 3 FastPass+ per day for your length of stay, 60 days prior to your trip. For those staying off-property, you are able to choose 3 FastPass+ per day, one day at a time, 30 days prior to your travel.
The three FastPass+ you choose in advance must all be at the same park. Once those three are used, you can get more FastPass+ at a kiosk in the parks or through the My Disney Experience app. You are not limited to the initial park you chose FastPasses for – you can park-hop and get additional FastPasses at any park you please. There is NO CHARGE for FastPasses, as they are one of the free benefits of visiting Walt Disney World. Please note that these are NOT front-of-line access passes – FastPass+ gives you a specific 1-hour time slot to arrive at your chosen attraction during which you are able to enjoy it with a very low wait time (because there will be others whose return window overlaps with yours).
